Segregating disruptive and non-disruptive students into separate groups is not just about protecting good students from falling prey to the others.  It has many other perspectives to it, as discussed below and should be given due thoughts before coming to any conclusion.

Usually, students are not mature enough to understand the intricacies of what is good and what is not and more often than not, they are seen attracted towards malefic behaviour.  Considering this, it is arguable, to assess and separate students into disruptive and non-disruptive groups.  This helps teachers too as they would be able to concentrate better and divise separate teaching strategies that would suit each group.  Moreover, grouping studious pupil together increases competition among contemporaries and sheilds from complacency.

On the other hand, like discriminating people based on caste, creed, color is unethical, discriminating students is alos unwelcoming and has a danger that disruptive students could feel inferior.  Also, if similar students are grouped together, there is possibility that the class could become monotonous and unyeilding.  Even the teachers could lose interest teaching them.  There would not be sharing of knowledge or helping each other and the good students could also develop elitism and turn arrogant.

I would disagree with the topic and argue that students should not be divided.  Instead, devise strategies to guide disruptive students onto the right path.
