Ingredients:
Mint leaves – 10 bunches
Bengal gram – 3 tbsp
Green gram– 2 tbsp
Black gram – 1 ½ tbsp
Sesame – 3 tbsp
Ground nuts – 2 tbsp
Dry coconut – 1
Tamarind – 1 large lemon size
Green Chilies – 15
Garlic bulb – ½
Jaggery – 1 large lemon size
Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
Salt – to taste
Preparation:
Soak tamarind in little quantity of water. Meanwhile, except tamarind, garlic cloves & jaggery, sauté all the ingredients separately in a pan with a teaspoon of oil and let it cool down. Grind all the ingredients together into a paste by adding sufficient water. Prepare tadka & add it to the chutney. It is ready to be served with chapathi, bajjis (esp. bread bajji) or rice.
